don't complete me

Eri Hara

don't delete me from the wanted list
and throw me in the "garbage"
while i still want to be wanted.

don't take me for one of those
that's sold at 3 for $1.
don't evaluate me as a D-
while i evaluate myself as an A+.

don't mock me
when i'm beaten in this round.
don't start counting
while i have a chance to smash you in the next round.

don't force me to laugh
when i am not having fun.
don't think what 100 people like is
what i like too

don't define my everything
when you can't define yourself completely.
i wonder if you could stand confidently
if you were defined as useless.

don't complete me,
don't bury me under the epitaph, "r.i.p."
and send the cheap and insincere sympathy,
while i am not ready to die.

don't turn your head from the moment
when i open the lid of the coffin i was put in,
don't shut your ears with your fingers
while i groan my revival
to every corner of the world,
every person who hates me.
