This book contains many haiku, haibun(short prose with haiku), senryu and tanka. Alexey was a Russian student studying abroad in the USA when he was writing this book. He wrote it first in Russian, his native language, and then he translated it into English. We translated all his writings from the English versions into Japanese and added his e-mails, in which he explained about his haiku and the background of haiku to the Japanese translator. All the haiku in this book have English texts, but the prose part, the author's e-mails, and the essay about haiku form are only in Japanese. So if you obtain the book and you are interested in English texts, please visit the author's website, the English version of "Moyayama". Or you can also purchase the original English version of this book at A Small Garlic Press (Chicago and Internet).
