１９８３年、岩手県出身。幼少時から絵を描く事が好きだったが、高校卒業後はファッションを専攻。その後また絵を書くことに焦点を当て始めアートの勉強を始める。料理よりもお菓子作りが好き、後は一息いれるときのお茶とビートルズ。自然や個人が社会の中でどの様に反映されるのか、また自然と人工物を程良く取り入れるバランスとは？など日々勉強中。

[masumi hirayama] was born in Iwate, Japan. She liked drawing pictures when she was little, however, she started studying fashion after high school. After fashion school, she started focusing on drawing again and studying art. Her favorite things are a cup of tea for a break, baking more than cooking and The Beatles. Her particular interest is how nature and human nature have an effect on society, and how to have a favorable balance between nature and artificiality in everyday life. Trying to put those ideas into her practice.
